Mr. Bashir Malik

Patron in Chief — Founder, Women's Advancement and Vocational Educational Ltd. (WAVE) Australia

Former President, Pakistan Association of Australia | Former Director, Penny Appeal

WAVE Australia continues its journey of service to underprivileged communities in Pakistan — through orphan care, clean water pumps, education support, wheelchair distribution, and economic empowerment for women.

Our Wave Home Orphan Care Center in Islamabad provides a safe home for children in need. Through our Economic Empowerment Programme, deserving women have received sewing machines to build sustainable livelihoods, while our Ramadan iftar dinners bring comfort to families during the holy month.

None of this would be possible without our dedicated volunteers and generous donors, who help us keep administration costs low so that support reaches those who need it most.

WAVE Australia remains committed to serving without judgement of nationality, race, or belief — a principle my late wife Shahnaz and I held close when we began this journey.
